Possessives


Good morning and... Happy New Year!

Today we are going to review the grammar unit we are practicing in the classroom: Genitive Saxon to show possession. In Spanish we say:

El perro de mi hermano.

In English you change the order. First you talk about the person who has something (mi hermano) and you add 's an then the object that is possessed (perro).

My brother's dog.
